hc1 Service Select™ is an easy way to use your premium services subscription to order professional services from hc1.

Note: If you are interested in adding a premium services subscription to your hc1 subscription, contact your hc1 Client Success Manager directly or email clientsuccess@hc1.com.

Examples of professional services you might request include:

  • Developing new or editing existing dashboards
  • Automating processes through new user-defined rules, Quick Create components, and workflow templates
  • Adding or updating interfaces
  • Training new system administrators, users, or report writers

Note: Professional services are enhancements to your existing functionality and are handled by the hc1 Service Delivery team. If your current hc1 services are not working the way they should, please contact the hc1 Support team at hc1support@hc1.com.

Request Services

To request professional services from hc1:

1. From your hc1 environment, open the Administration Settings menu and choose Submit a Service Select Request. Or, from your web browser, go to https://hc1.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals directly. You will see the hc1 Support & Service Select home page.

2. Under the Suggested Forms heading on the home page, click the New Service Request in Service Select link. Or click the Service Select button and click New Service Request. You will see the New Service Request window.

3. In the Email Confirmation To box, type or paste your email address.

4. In the Summary box, type a brief description of the service you want, such as new fields added for report writers or new rules or workflows.

5. In the Description box, provide as much detail as you can about the service. This detail will help your Service Delivery Manager better estimate how many hours it will take to fulfill the request.

6. Attach any helpful files by dragging them from another tab or clicking Browse, navigating to the file you want, and clicking Open.

7. Click Send. A message showing the request number is displayed. You will also receive an email confirmation from Service Select jira@hc1atlassian.net.

An hc1 Service Delivery Manager will contact you to discuss this request and plan the next steps.

Track Request Status

Your hc1 Service Delivery Manager will review the progress made on your hc1 Service Select requests during your biweekly Service Select meetings. You also can view the status of your company’s requests or add questions or comments to existing requests from the hc1 Service Select portal.

Log in to the hc1 Service Select Portal

To view your hc1 Service Select requests, you must log into your hc1 Service Desk account or set one up if you have not already done so. This is the same account you use to view Support tickets.

  1. Go to the hc1 Support & Service Select home page. From your hc1 environment, open the Administration Settings menu and choose Submit a Service Select Request. Or, from your web browser, go to https://hc1.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals directly.
  2. Click the Log In button in the upper right corner.
  3. Type your email address in the box and click Next.
  4. If you have an account, you’ll be asked for your password. Type it in the Password box and press Enter or click the Continue button. You will see the hc1 Support & Service Select home page again, but the Login button will be replaced with a Requests button and a user menu icon.

If you don’t have an account, you’ll be asked to sign up for one:

  1. Click the Sign up with Password button. A link will be sent to your email so that you can complete the sign up process.
  2. Open the email from hc1 Support & Service Select and click the Sign Up button. You will see the hc1 Support & Service Select portal with the Sign Up window displayed.
  3. Type your first and last name in the Full Name box.
  4. Type a password in the Choose a Password box.
  5. Click the Sign Up button. You will see the hc1 Support & Service Select home page again, but the Login button will be replaced with a Requests button and a user menu icon.

View hc1 Service Select Requests

1. Log in to the hc1 Support & Service Select portal.

2. Click the Requests button in the upper right corner.

3. To only see the requests you submitted, choose Created by Me. Choose All to see all the requests for your company.

4. Click a request’s reference number or summary to open the details of that request

5. To add a comment, type it in the text box and click Save.

6. Click the hc1 Support & Service Select link at the top of the request window to return to the homepage.
